There has been growing scientific debate about Comet C/2010 X1 (Elenin) as it approaches the Earth, and its significance as it comes as close as 0.23 Astronomic Units -about one quarter the distance between the Earth and the sun – on October 16, 2011. At one end of the spectrum are NASA scientists claiming that Elenin is little more than a comet comprising icy space debris with negligible mass that will have little effect on the Earth. At the other end are some scientists and private researchers claiming that Elenin is a large planetary body, possibly a brown dwarf star, and its near approach will have calamitous effects.

Washington, DC - On July 8, 1947 General Roger Ramey held a press event at the 8th Army Air Force Headquarters in Fort Worth, Texas in which he changed an earlier press release announcing a recovered crashed disk near Roswell, New Mexico to that of a retrieved Rawin weather balloon. This was the informal beginning of the now 64-year truth embargo regarding an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race.

Five years after Roswell in July of 1952 a plethora of sightings took place over Washington, DC creating great concern among those responsible for the nation's security. Subsequently the Central Intelligence Agency commissioned a classified panel to study and assess the phenomenon and the growing public awareness of extraterrestrial craft in the skies over the United States. The panel first met formally on January 14, 1953 under the direction of Howard Percy Robertson, a physicist, CIA employee and director of the Defense Department Weapons Evaluation Group.

The Robertson Panel's report concluded the extraterrestrial craft were not a direct threat to national security, but the public's growing interest and engagement of the phenomenon was a threat. Consequently, President Truman's decision to reverse the Roswell crashed disk explanation in 1947 became a highly classified formal government policy in 1953. Official acknowledgement would be withheld and public awareness of the phenomenon would be suppressed by any and all means. This policy was very much connected to grave concerns over the developing cold war and nuclear arms race and was certainly legal under the National Security Act of 1947. For this reason Paradigm Research Group has worked to replace the term "UFO Cover-up" with "Truth Embargo."

Twenty years after the collapse of the Soviet Union and the end of the Cold War it is time for this policy of embargo to end.

Disclosure with a capital "D" is the formal acknowledgement by world governments of the extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race and is the primary goal of a growing international truth movement. The purpose of World Disclosure Day is to provide a focal point for people and organizations to come together to assert their right to know extraordinary information being withheld from them by their governments. World Disclosure Day will also help broaden public awareness of the Disclosure process and those organizations involved in the advocacy work. The date July 8 was chosen to close the circle back to the Ramey press event in July of 1947.

Jones stance on the Arab Spring and support for dictators appears odd at first given mainstream media coverage of events in Libya, Egypt, Syria and elsewhere, but is consistent with the anti-globalism Jones espouses. For Jones, better the little devil of Arab dictators firmly controlling their populations, than the big devil of globalists adding the Arab world to their international balance sheets. So the big question becomes, is Jones right? Extraterrestrial contact where humanity is almost destroyed to protect the ecosystem.

There has been a flurry of recent stories by The Guardian and other major world media about the possible benefits or harm that may occur after contact with advanced extraterrestrial civilizations. The stories were sparked by a scientific study published in the June/July edition of Acta Astronautica. Titled, “Would Contact with Extraterrestrials Benefit or Harm Humanity? A Scenario Analysis” the study examines a number of scenarios concerning extraterrestrial contact. It adopts the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI) paradigm that intelligent extraterrestrial life has not yet been discovered, and that scientific modalities such as radio signals are among the most feasible ways of establishing communications. The study examines the FERMI paradox, first established by Enrico Fermi, that alien life should be abundant in our galaxy, but he asked “where are they?”

Responses to the Fermi Paradox by the authors leads to three possible scenarios. The last scenario examined is the Zoo hypothesis that Aliens may be studying us remotely or invisibly, reminiscent of the non-interference principle popularized by the Star Trek series as the Prime Directive. They explain: “ETI are treating Earth like a wildlife preserve to be observed but not fully incorporated into the Galactic Club.”

According to an increasing number of astronomers including its discoverer, Comet Elenin (C/2010 X1) has begun disintegrating. It was hit directly by a coronal mass ejection (CME) from the sun on August 19, and soon began loosing visibility - suggesting it was breaking up. In contrast, respected science author Richard C. Hoagland claims that an unmistakable tetrahedral energy shield was displayed by Elenin during the CME confirming beyond any doubt that it is indeed an artificial structure – a space ship. Hoagland claims that reports that Elenin has disintegrated are part of a disinformation campaign to distract the public away from Elenin’s artificial nature, and the world changing message it has for humanity. The latest satellite images of Elenin showing its uninterrupted passage from the CME, no breaking apart, and clearly displaying some kind of triangular energy shield appear to support Hoagland’s claims.

[Sept 15, 2011 - Kona, Hawaii] The Exopolitics Institute is inviting instructor applicants to offer courses as part of the Institute's teaching program. The Institute has offered online courses since 2007, and currently has six courses on the books leading to an Exopolitics Certificate and/or Diploma. We wish to expand the program to a full Bachelor/Master's Degree in Exopolitics, and apply for accreditation with a suitable U.S. based tertiary teaching body.

The Exopolitics Institute is a 501(c)3, and registered in the state of Hawaii. It offers a number of innovative programs, including a scholarly journal, news blog, annual conference, etc. Any applicant must have at least a Master's level degree and five year's teaching experience. We are seeking applicants who can offer interdisciplinary courses dealing with the political, social, legal and scientific consequences of extraterrestrial life.

Courses are offered online over a 14 week period . In future, we plan to host in house intensives where courses can be offered over a three week period in Hawaii with practical in-house components.

One of NASA's two Stereo satellites monitoring solar activity captured film footage of what appears to be a huge cylindrical spaceship or UFO mothership, near Mercury on December 1. The spaceship briefly appears after being hit by a Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) from the Sun. Images of the object reveal it to be cylindrical in shape. Comparison to nearby Mercury suggests it is very large, hundreds of miles long and probably a UFO mothership of some kind. If genuine, and not a photographic artifact as claimed by some scientists, this would not be the first time that a solar CME has revealed cloaked spaceships. Back in August 19, 2011, a CME revealed what appeared to be a tetrahedral energy shield around comet Elenin. For science writer, Richard Hoagland, this was evidence that Elenin was an artificially created object - a spaceship - whose orbit took it near Earth for a specific mission. Now a CME appears to have revealed the energy shield around another spaceship which is gigantic in size and cylindrical in shape. Is NASA's STEREO satellite film footage evidence of a CME revealing a giant cloaked spacecraft, or is it all just a photographic artifact?

Andy Basiago first emerged into public life four years ago with sensational claims of discovering life on Mars. He wrote a White Paper in 2008 with his analysis of Mars Rover images which he claimed were conclusive proof of life of Mars and a NASA controlled cover up. One of the enigmas of U.S. trade policy is the willingness of policy makers to allow China open access to U.S. markets while China throws up many obstacles to American imports. This has predictably led to the US China trade imbalance becoming an issue in the U.S. Presidential Republican campaign. In an interview on Fox News on February 2, 2012, Republican Presidential front runner, Mitt Romney, declared:

On my first day in office, I will label China a currency manipulator and under US law once that label has been affixed the president is able to apply tariffs to any of their goods ... I’ve made it very clear to the Chinese that’s where we’ll go if they continue the practices they’re pursuing right now.

Romney’s get tough on China rhetoric impressed Donald Trump who promptly endorsed Romney for the Republican Presidential Primary. According to Trump: “I love what Mitt was saying about China and the rest of the world, which is just absolutely ripping us off and trying to destroy this nation with a smile. And I think that Mitt Romney really sees China for what they are.”

It is a fact that China maintains a huge trade deficit with the U.S. The exchange rate of China’s currency, the Renminbi, is kept artificially low making it very difficult for U.S. products to compete with cheap Chinese imports. Imports of Chinese products have devastated the U.S. manufacturing industry. To make matters worse, China establishes tariffs on a range of key U.S. export products, such as automobiles, making it even more difficult for the U.S. to reverse the trade deficit which continues to grow. Compounding the issue is China’s flagrant violation of intellectual property laws where Chinese firms pirate many U.S. products with almost total impunity thereby removing another means of balancing the trade deficit.

The trade imbalance has led to China accumulating vast reserves of US dollars, becoming the biggest purchaser of U.S. treasury bonds, and becoming America’s chief creditor. According to the U.S. Treasury, as of November 2011, China held 1.1 trillion dollars in U.S. treasury securities. All this has U.S. Republican presidential candidates and many economists speaking out loudly against China and calling for retaliatory measures such as tariffs, getting tough on Chinese violation of intellectual property laws, and pressuring China to revalue its currency. So are Romney, Trump and a host of prominent economists correct about China? Do they make a compelling case for abandoning a bad China trade policy?

The problem is that what Romney, Trump and other China trade policy critics miss is that the trade deficit is not a result of a poorly thought out U.S. trade policy. In fact the U.S. trade policy with China has been meticulously thought out. There is growing evidence that it is payback for the CIA’s decades long covert use of China’s “black gold” – gold that does not appear on any international gold registry. China’s “black gold” has been hidden for over six decades in order to fund a globally coordinated set of covert projects hidden from public view by the CIA and a consortium of national intelligence organizations and transnational corporations – a global Manhattan project.
