Dear all,

After the success of this year's ExaCt workshop in Pasadena, California, we will
submit a proposal for next year's workshop to ECAI 2010 [1]. The next ECAI
conference will be held in Lisbon, Portugal, 16–20 August 2010. So mark your
calendar already for another great workshop and start writing papers.

For all of you who could not come to Pasadena, missing out on great talks and
great weather, we will collect the slides on the workshop website [2]. There are
also some photos.

At last year's workshop in Patras we came up with the idea of a manifesto on
explanation-aware computing. I worked out an initial version and informed you
about it back in January. In Pasadena we briefly touched the topic and decided
to further discuss the manifesto here on the list. Please, have a look at it and
voice your opinion. Could and would you subscribe to its content?
