Make sure you know the full name of your player. It's GE1101P (not PA
or PB). And you have to know the video encoder chip you have to see
if they are BT or CS.
Go to:

to download the right firmware base for your player according to the
information you get above.
AP703 software can be used on GE1101P players(With the right encoder).
So far I didn't see any GE firmware patch which can support MiniDVD.
So if that is what you really want, go with AP703 firmware. Remember
the draw back is that you are gonna have the annoying OSD problem and
4x FF maximum for VCD playing(If you can stand that :)
