You need to replace the DVD ROM loader with a new one. Simply go to your
computer store and buy a PC DVD ROM for about $60 AUS and place that
into your player and it will play DVD-R DVD+R DVDRW etc. anything a PC
DVD player can read.

Also have a look at OneFirmwareForAll yahoo group, you can mod you AD600
to something cool!

Very possible it is the loader firmware. Check to see if you have an updated version you can try. Make sure you follow all directions very very carefully. If...
