I was lucky enough to pick this up for $5 at a pawnshop (broken; I
fixed it. Woo Hoo!). I want to turn off the macrovision, but I am too
stupid to understand this patch thing. Can someone please explain in
plain language if there is a patch here that works, where it is, and
how I implement it? I've tried one from a different website, but I
couldn't get their patch to open up properly. I have verified that I
have the correct chip and so on, so I'm eager to make this work.
