Sigh ... Logic 6 is not supported   Topic List   < Prev Topic  |  Next Topic >

There are new bugs. Lots of them. The ones that affect Fadermapper:

A Logic midi automation bug means "midi" mode is useless.

Fadermapper's GUI does not update correctly, so it's difficult to
figure out what's happening. Possibly my bug, or my bad assumption.

Fadermapper songs created in Logic 5 and opened in Logic 6 may wind up
with non-functioning track-automation splitter transformers, which in
combination with the first bug renders it all useless much of the
time. I believe this is another Logic bug.

I will not be updating Fadermapper 1.x to work with Logic 6. I believe
it's better to push on with 2.0, which is a ground-up rewrite,
allowing me to do many things better and more efficiently. I'm hoping
the next Logic subrelease will fix the midi automation bug.

... Duh. Not weird. I'd opened it in Logic 5.5, so naturally it started working. Logic 6 definitely hoses things. If your workflow depends on Fadermapper, and...

Well, I think I've pretty much figured out what the problem is with Logic 6 vs Fadermapper. Since 6.0, it's not been possible to reliably send a control event ...
