Description

This group is for researchers who are interested in faith development theory and research. Especially colleagues who have already included faith development analysis in their empirical research or think about including faith development analysis are welcome to join the group. Exchange of experiences may help new researchers and inspire new projects.
This group is reseated to the Faith Development Research Network (find the URL in the links folder), a platform in the web site of the Research Center for Biographical Studies in Contemporary Religion (University of Bielefeld, Germany) which includes a project data base, reference data base, news page and download page.
Faith development theory and research, as proposed by James W. Fowler in 1981, after three decades of discussion and considerable empirical research, invites theoretical reflection and methodological clarification and advancement. I hope for a vivid exchange of experiences, ideas and proposals in this group. Heinz Streib
