Fine Art Photography is a group dedicated to discussing all aspects of both fine art photography and the uses of photography in the visual arts.

It thus covers both traditional fine art photography: the fine print, etc, but also contemporary developments in photography as an art form and as incorporated into other art forms. We cover digital and analogue, alternative processes, exhibition planning, promotion, creative processes and issues, photography in the art world, personal development in this direction, inspiration, conceptual matters and much more. Technical issue discussions of cameras, printing and printers, chemicals, software, processes and more are all welcome.

This is a group for those with a serious interest in the art aspects of photography. So while we welcome people of all levels of experience, this is not the place for basic photography questions.
