Well, with getting the site redesigned and putting the winner of the big
infrared
photography competition up:

we can now look to the future. We had noticed a low entry rate on competitions
with fairly
small prizes, so ThinkTank Photo has come back to us as sponsors of monthly
competitions for 2008 and 2009 that are really great prizes. The list of
competitions is up:
http://www.dimagemaker.com/competitions.php
along with a new way to enter. You will now be able to upload your entries
yourselves. Just
follow the instructions on the competition page by sending us an intital email
to say you
wish to enter and then going to the competition gallery site and registering. We
will
approve it and then you can use that account to upload into any of our
competitions. This
new way will help us with some of our future plans as competitions grow and
there are
more than one a month running.

We are working on further competitions, so stay tuned.

I intend to take a quite hands off moderation approach except to minimise the
very basic
questions and to enforce the principles that everyone's views are valid and that
no one has a
right to dictate what is and is not photography to anyone else, though everyone
is entitled to
