The customer is using a VMware to host the database.
There are 4 cpus and it is 100% on all of them every 10 mins or so.

Our database is using default sweep setting. Gstat information does not indicate
sweeps occuring in a ~10min interval.

Hi, ... Is your customer is using a SMP machine?, If yes... is the 100% usage on ALL cores/cpus?? If not, I'd say it could be garbage collect. Regards, ...
