RE: [fitnesse] TestSuite running slow and ErrorLogs question
Things
to try:
·
Recycle FitNesse.
·
Check for cyclic !includes.
·
Depending on the FitNesse version, there’s an inefficiency
with comment lines that comment out valid markups. For example, using the
# character to hide valid fixture tables and other markups. Try removing
the leading # characters then using {{{ }}} to bracket the code area. If
it’s noticeably quicker, it’s the # parser logic in your version.
·
Check the port (-p option) to see if there is something else
listening on that port.
Stay
Fit,
Andy

I figured out the SuiteSetUp wiki. I must have been
one that I configured on my own.
Now all that remains is; Why is it slow going from one
page to the next?

About the ErrorLogs question; I placed a !see command
and this helps. Yet what I am looking for is for the link to show at
the top;
ErrorLogs. MainSuiteWiki.
I am still trying to access the SuiteSetup and
SuiteTearDown.

I have built an !include Suite setup page and it works
well. My only concern is that the swapping between wiki test pages
is taking longer than what I would expect. Might it be my system
with a Dell OptiPlex 745 X86 6 Model 15 Stepping 6 Genuinelntel,
WindowsXP Pro, total physical memory 2,048 MB, virtual memory 2 GB, and
page file space 3.84 GB.
Or does it normally run slow?
My next question is in regard to the ErrorLogs.
When I link with http://localhost/
ErrorLogs. ComcastNetworkSy stems I would like to have a link to
ComcastNetworkSyste ms or have the header ComcastNetworkSyste ms be a
link to itself. I managed to creat it on my own wiki pages, but
have not been able to create it with the ErrorLogs. I have looked
and changed the context.txt files, but nothing works. Is there a
solution for this?
Another questions, if I may; On another setup, I was
getting the "SuiteSetup" and "SuiteTearDown" when I
ran the Suite test. On this new setup these wikis are not showing
up like before. I am still reading up on this, but thought I would
ask. This might save me some time in understanding what is
happening.
