Hi,

Native Plants for High Elevation Western Gardens is in the Flagstaff
Public Library. I wrote it and it features 150 easy to grow beautiful
native perennials, plus has a very good summary of how to garden with
natives here in Flagstaff. Another great book is Beyond the Ponderosa
by the Arizona Tree Council- I think it's in the library, too, or
available through the U of A Cooperative Extension.Judith Phillips of
New Mexico has also written some wonderful books on native plants of
the southwest and how to use them. And if you're new to gardening in
the southwest, First Gardens: How to get started in Southwestern
Gardens is also a great resource.
