I will second Jan's book "Native Plants for High Elevation Western
Gardens" It contains a lot of great information. If you would like
more information on growing veggies and herbs in this region you
should check out Lisa Rayner's "Growing Food in the Southwest
Mountains" Lisa is also a local author and her book is available in
the local library.
