Some may think TIFF is a dreadful format, other wish it is dead.
Well... if anyone can use it... I have written a "functional" TIFF 6.0
baseline decoder.
By "functional", I mean it will work with 1, 8, 24 bit per pixel RGB
or grayscale. Big & little endian OK. Planar and interlace (chuncky)
pixels OK.
I have tested the decoder with images created from CS4 photoshop
(thank you FlashMN).
However, even Vista - Windows Paint save TIFF with LZW compression...
which is beyond TIFF 6.0 "baseline".
So.... yes, many features to add, polishing to go on.... stay tune !
Any comments, complaints, bugs find, suggestion(s) are greatly appreciated.
