FNCV Updates is a newsgroup designed to promote awareness of environmental and scientific events relevant to members of the Field Naturalists Club of Victoria (FNCV).

FNCV was founded in 1880, and continues as a vigorous and practical advocate of conservation and the study of natural history to this day. The Club has almost 1000 members and publishes the bimonthly magazine 'The Victorian Naturalist'.

Through this forum, we hope to provide a new way of communication for members, and to provide an avenue where discussion of relevant nature related issues can safely take place. All members are encouraged to post to this list.
