[fors-discuss] Correction to Cybersalem 14   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #64 of 148 |
In Cybersalem 14 there is a quote attributed to
Kenneth Rosenblatt, an observation supposedly of his views on
acting as a prosecutor in a criminal case where Intel was
the alleged victim. I used this quote in good faith, having
taken it from page 290 of Tim Jackson's _Inside Intel_, as
indicated at the time.

They were not Kenneth Rosenblatt's words. Ken Hamidi of Face
Intel, who had republished CS14, brought this matter to my
attention. Tim Jackson has confirmed his error and his publisher
is putting an erratum in the paperback edition. I've revised CS14
on my website, and apologized to Kenneth Rosenblatt.

I've been spared these experiences, but Randal certainly
has had people put opprobrious words in his mouth and
currently in having so-called journalists stick to damaging
assertions even after they have been proved false. I despise
both these as deliberate tactics, regret my unwitting
commission of the former and have no intention of imitating
the Randal's critics in the latter.

If those following this list could help me in removing all
instances of the bogus Rosenblatt quote wherever they are
found, I'll consider it a personal favor.

Thanks!

Jeffrey Kegler
