The Open Letter to Intel will close to new signatures October 4, 1999.
This is as previously announced. My intention had been to stop at 2000
signatures, plus approximately 10%. There are 2150 now. New signers
will be accepted for the next 60 days.

All the signers have the feeble reward of my personal thanks. More
important, they have stood up for human rights. As a careful student
of the public discussion on this matter, I can assure all the signers
they have played an irreplaceable role in helping prevent a repetition
of the injustice Randal is currently suffering under.

Please encourage any others you know who might want to sign to do
so before October 4.
