Well the directions made it clear we were publicizing their name and address,
it said nothing about comments. And, frankly, I originally thought of the
comments fields as a way for folks to send comments and remarks of an
administrative nature -- which was indeed a minority use. So while most people
making comments must have intended them to be public, at least potentially, it
is not certain that all did. And certainty is what is required here.
As the sponsor of the Letter to Intel, I feel certain personal obligations to
the signers to do my utmost to see their names, etc., are not misused. So
this, if you will, is a restriction imposed on Steve by me. I hope you will
see why I am asserting this as a personal privilege, and though you might
consider it overcareful, go along with me on it.
