Hi:
Just found this group.
I'm using the 40V version of the FS2 to run an Anssen Alhena mount. I went out
to the dome the other day, powered up the FS2, heard a pop, smelled the distinct
odor of hot I.C. plastic and blew the 10 amp fuse.
Long story short, one of the A3952SW chips decided to give up the ghost.
This wouldn't be much of a problem except that I've found that this chip isn't
made anymore, there isn't a direct drop-in replacement and those suppliers who
still have these chips in stock (and there are quite a few of them) have minimum
purchase amounts. The cheapest I've been able to get is $10.00 US with a
$100.00 US minimum. So I have to buy 10 to replace one.
Any help with this would be appreciated.
