It is already on the to-do list. But the implementation is not as easy as you
might think. Important questions are:
-- When is an automatic meridian flip required?
-- When is a meridian flip allowed, without risk that the telescope touches the
tripod or somethig else?

The drawback of automatic meridian flip is, that you must always enter the time
and date after power-on.
