Mouse cursor should always be hidden, if it appears is because the
driver ignores the request of gPhotoShow to hide it, or maybe some kind
of utility is intercepting calls to mouse functions and forces the
cursor to stay there.

This appears to happen after the machine wakes up from Standby/Hibernate mode. I have a machine that wakes up early in the morning without mouse or keyboard...
