I recently got a Canon S2 IS that creates video clips in AVI format.
These run fine on my machine using Windows Media Player v.10. Prior
to the Canon I had an HP Photosmart that created MPG clips. I also
have a Nikon Coolpix that creates MOV QuickTime files.

My old gPhoto shows run fine with MPG and MOV files. But any new AVI
clips from the Canon give me a box titled Protection Error and text
about a debugger detected and reference to WinNT and WinIce.

Any suggestions?

WinXP Pro/SP2. gPhoto Pro (registered) 3.6.2.
