This is a site intended to allow interaction between amateur astronomers located in St.Louis and the surrounding area. Feel free to post questions, comments, suggestions, complaints, announcements..BLOG if you want...whatever, just try to keep it astronomy related. Commercial ads & spam are not allowed.

This is not a club, however, this site may provide similar benefits by allowing communication between individuals sharing a common interest in the night sky. Whether you are new to the hobby or are a seasoned observer, you are welcome here.

I'm wondering if this activity is a precursor of this star going supernova. If so, maybe I'll be able to witness the event in my lifetime.
