Hello all,

I'm writing a short paper for an Anthropology class about race. I
am hoping to find someone to interview who deals with race in a
professional setting. I only need to ask a few questions about how
races are classified in a particular job and for what particular
reasons they are classified as such (what purpose does it serve?).
In this case, I am interested in any genetic classifications of
race. Although race is considered more of a cultural concept, the
adaptive traits of different races have genetic validity. I would
like to know how your field views race (from the genetic
perspective) and what criteria are used to classify. If you think
you can help me out, I would greatly appreciate it. The questions
will be brief and few (probably no more than 4 or 5) and can be
communicated through e-mail for minimal hassle. This paper is due
on 2/25.
