Manually changing the number in the "score" column   Message List

In an earlier version of Genius, I was able to click on the number in
the "Score" column and manually lower it so that the item to memorize
would come up faster. I would take advantage of this whenever I found
myself looking up an item in my file (since needing to look it up is
proof that I don't actually have it memorized yet). I've been using
1.7.250 ever since I upgraded to OSX10.5.6, though, and I can't find a
way to do that in this version.

Is there a reason why that feature was removed? Is there a setting that
I can tick to get it back, perhaps?
