proving parallel lines in hyperbolic geometry   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #329 of 1093 |
I need some help on my hyperbolic geometry... see if you guys can
help me out

1) In hyperbolic geometry, prove that given a line l and a point P
not on l, there are infinitely many lines through P parallel to l.

2) in hyperbolic geometry, prove that 2 lines are hyperparallel if
and only if they share a common perpendicular.

If anyone can give me some insights on these, that would be awesome!
thanks

Katrina
