The use of solar energy for distillation was first
discovered by mother nature and applied to everything
that sprouted life on earth.
Without it, all life would come to a screeching halt.
With the constantly rising costs of energies,
Distillation comes under fire as a means to separate elements,
and better methods are employed by large refiners and fuel makers.
However those technologies are either too expensive to implement,
or too dangerous to use for the small farm producer,
or the backyard experimenter.
Distillation will remain with us for centuries to come,
as the No:1 means of extracting Ethanol
from the various brews that can be dreamed of.
Now, up to us to find ways towards better performing devices
and methods towards making distillation more practical.
Welcome to our forum, and enjoy sharing in good friendship.
