Hi
I've installed gimp 2.2.17 on FC7. I'm attempting to run gimp with the
Perl-Server plug-in (which I had to get from Gimp-2.0.tar.gz - why's that?)
connecting to Xvfb on display :1.
I copy the plugins to a directory under my GIMPHOME.
The commands I've used are:
Xvfb :1 -screen 0 10x10x8 -pixdepths 1 -fp
/usr/share/fonts/default/Type1,/usr/share/X11/fonts/misc,unix/:7100 &
/usr/bin/gimp --display :1.0 --console-messages --batch '(extension-perl-server
1 0 0)' &
Both Xvfb and gimp are starting up, but no Perl-Server or script-fu, which is
also in the plugins directory.
Questions:
- how does gimp know where to look for the plugins?
- am I making some other mistake?
Thanks
Luke
