GISMO is a Geographic Information Systems Users Group comprising 800+ GIS users in the New York metro area. The group hosts informal lunch meetings every 8 weeks at the Fund for the City of New York. A one-hour administrative section discussing group activity, new members, recent upcoming GIS events, advocacy activity, subgroup news, etc., precedes a feature presentation on current topics in GIS, GPS and other related fields.
