Westchester County GIS is currently accepting resumes for an entry-level
position as part of its core GIS project team. Primary responsibilities include
map and database maintenance support to the County's emergency dispatching
system and working at the direction of senior staff on a wide range of county
and local government GIS projects. Demonstrated experience with ESRI software
required.

MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Possession of a high school or
equivalency diploma and either: (a) a Bachelor's Degree* and two years of
experience where the primary function of the position was utilizing and
maintaining GIS systems and mapping applications in a large governmental agency
or private enterprise; or (b) a Bachelor's Degree in Urban, Natural Resource or
Environmental Planning, Geography, Geographic Information Systems or Management
Information Systems and one year of experience as defined in (a). A Master's
Degree in one of the aforementioned fields may be substituted for up to one year
of the required experience.

Starting Annual Salary: $50,000 including standard government benefits.
