I was able to confirm that removing the <Region> setting makes the KMZ files
work in BaseCamp 3.0.2 again. I'm working with Garmin so they can fix
BaseCamp to read the files, but assuming that will take a while I have also
removed the <Region> section from KMZ files created for Garmin GPS devices.
I have placed a new build at http://www.globalmapper.com/global_mapper11.zip
with the change for you to try. Simply download that file and extract the
contents into your existing v11.xx installation folder to give it a try. If
you are using the 64-bit version, there is a new build available at
http://www.globalmapper.com/global_mapper11_64bit.zip .
Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
Thanks,
Mike

I dont know if Im doing something wrong but I still cant get Basecamp
working. I found the problem might be if Basecamp founds in DOC.KML
something like:
<GroundOverlay>
<Region>
</Region>
</GroundOverlay>
If I delete all content of <Region>...</Region> for each <GroundOverlay> of
each JPG tiles then Basecamp seems to work perfectly
Thanks
