Subject: [G Star] Milky Way timelapse v2
I improved a bit the resolution of the Milky Way timelapse I took during
this past GSSP. You'll need to click on the full-screen icon
(bottom-right) , make sure HD is "on" and scaling is "off" in order to
view it at the best resolution possible.

There's a small jump around the middle of the video (the camera ran out
of batteries and I wasn't watching!) and the transition to blue after
the center of the galaxy goes out of the FOV could be improved, but I
left it as it came out, not being an expert in video processing at all.
Maybe next time!
I've also learned a few things - first, if you're going to spend hours
taking a timelapse, PLEASE take your time at first to make sure your
camera isn't tilted at all :-). Second, a timelapse should be framed
horizontally (landscape), not vertically. Third, forget
YouTube. Use a
site that accepts true HD videos (I used Vimeo this time, though there
are others). Fourth, a car isn't the best foreground item you probably
want in a landscaped timelapse ;-) Etc...
Hope you enjoy it!
