An attempt to raise the value of the prizes in geocaching. Pay a
nominal monthly fee and have a chance at being first-to-find a cache
with a big cash prize in it.

This has been tried before, with little success. It'll take deep
pockets to finance the prizes for the time it takes for the word to
spread and enough players to sign up to have the registration fees
cover the cost of the prizes. And that day may never come because
geocaching isn't much of a competitive sport. Not enough to get a
critical mass of players together in one region for this to work,
anyway. But I wish them luck on their venture.
