This complaint has come up now and again for years. Usually, the
moderator doesn't respond. In October, he posted to the group to
complain about the spam. He solicited a volunteer to moderate the
group. I don't know how many stepped forward (I did), but not a peep
has been heard from the moderator again. It sure is odd.
