That's why I have used Pelican clear plastic cases.
I put the Geocache info label inside between the black rubber liner
and the inside bottom's hard clear plastic shell.
Then, that way the top lid is left as clear plastic, for folks to see through.

The second link even shows units with a geocaching
label. Yeah, there's always a chance it will be laying upside down;
or, folks get scared and won't approach it at all...and just bring in
the bomb squad; but, this type of case has got to be a lot better,
now-a-days, than ammo containers!
