I'm tired of asking for user's databases every time someone asks a
question when its obvious that I need to see the database to
answer.
So going forward, if you ask a question, and I need your database to
answer, I'm going to check and see if you sent it. If not then I'm going
to ignore the question.
You may notice no answer. If so, and you do upload the database after the
fact, be sure to tell me you did, and when the original question was
asked.
Support is a two way street.
Thank you,

Hi,
Not sure this information will be helpful but here it is. These are the ISBN:
1600241557
0316067393
1599901943
0312383568
0061232920
0312536712
0060817747
0312378262
These are the original prices I was selling at:
6.63
4.50
8.24
11.68
7.98
4.92
29.99
4.65
This is what I entered in the "Set Prices" form:
- No use of the Exclusion formula
- Minimun price 2.99
- Default price 4.99
- Price qualifier Third Lowest
- Amount - .01
- Condition qualifier less than or equal to
- Condition new
- BT Price Field Retail
Perhaps none of the books qualify for a change in price based on the criteria I
have set. Is there a message somewhere telling me why the books were rejected?
Something like "You moron the books are already at that price."

Andy,
In the BookTrakker tab, 'Type' settings field, I'm unable to blank out the field
after having once set it with one of selections from the drop-down list.
In other words... I've been using several templates for listing textbooks with
the Type field set to 'Textbook'. Now I want to use these same templates with
the field remaining blank. Even though I remove 'Textbook' by deleting it out of
the field, it still shows up in the field after getting data.
Somtimes, although, the field seems to register the change and remain blank from
then on, until changed again. I've played around with this some trying to get
the change to hold, but I can't see any consistent behavior on my part when it
works. I have yet to try blanking other fields to see if I have the same
problem.
Any way I can get this field to positively change?
Thanks,
Brian
I hit one (yes, my 5th request). ISBN: 0970129483

Amazon is testing new security requirements for developers who use their
programming API's to collect data. We use the API in GrabIt and the
ISBN/ASIN lookup in BookTrakker. What we don't know is whether or not
these changes apply to us, since Amazon does not make it clear.
Amazon will be testing this on Monday, August 3, starting at 2PM EST, and
continuing for 24 hours . One in five requests will be rejected,
randomly, so if anyone experiences a problem using GrabIt or ISBN/ASIN
lookup when it should work please contact us at once. Repeating a failed
request will confirm that we are affected, assuming you get any failures
at all. Please do verify that any ISBN/ASIN lookups should work
otherwise, if the ISBN/ASIN is not on Amazon to start with then its a
failure of input, not security.
We are cautiously optimistic that we will be unaffected, and we are going
to try and confirm this before the testing starts.
Thank you,

BookTrakker uses your system date, which apparently is set to
1/12/2009.

I don't know how it happened,
but the calendar in Booktrakker got fouled up. Things are printing
with 1/12/09 instead of today's dates, and it impacts the storage of the
photo as well (listed with the 1/12 date instead of today's). I
looked in the index for help in getting to the calendar used on
Booktrakker but could not find the calendar in the program. How do
I adjust the date to reflect the correct listing date/time.

Andy,
Found the database and table. Good tool.
