RE: [grandcanyon] Re: Tanner Trail or New Hance

I'm hiking the trail next October. I hiked the South Bass and Tanner trail
to elves Chasm a couple of years ago in the fall. The weather was perfect,
but some of the ledges were scary. What do you think?

Jim, Thanks for the recommendation. I have until June to make up my mind. I'm not sure how large a group will go with me. Maybe just one friend. Sounds ...

Jim, I hope I'm not repeating myself. I think I might do the Bill Hall trek. It sounds really nice, and less crowded. Soooo --- how about the skinny spots? ...

Terri, The descent from the top of the Bill Hall trail is steep and the trail is strewn with stones, as typical of most non-maintained trails near the rim. ...
