Description

GRASP stands for Generalized Regression Analysis and Spatial Prediction.

The GRASP user group is intended to connect GRASP users from around the world so that they can share their experience, problems and solutions.

GRASP is based on Generalized Additive Models (GAM), a non parametric regression method, to build spatial predictions from point surveys. Unlike spatial interpolation, GRASP is essentially based on vertical relationships between multiple predictors.

GRASP-S was built with Splus and GRASP-R with R !!!

More information on GRASP can be found at http://www.unige.ch/ia/climate/grasp

Re: Categorical variable as a grid?
Hello! I think it is necessary to convert the shape-files into GRID files as the GSASPIT extension in ArcView GIS reads the values from GRID files. once you

Re: Using covariables
Hi Lior, You may not be able to do it in grasp, but if you look at the use of an offset term in any GAM or GLM model, you will find that you can fix one

Re: Categorical variable as a grid?
Hi Hillary For analysing the data statistically in GRASP, you have to adopt a predictor value to each georeferences point in your responce dataset. If you have
