We are GROWERS, an informal group of individuals in Austin, Texas dedicated to building local green roofs and growing the green roof knowledge base.

Our aim is to bring together green roof enthusiasts in a lively, informal format to share knowledge, experience and even labor to begin the propagation of rooftops in our unique climate. It is an open group we hope to keep fun as well as responsible and flexible so it can grow and adapt as needed to fulfill its aims. It will emphasize doing rather than talking because it is our belief that (well) built projects will speak louder than pictures and words. Members can be involved as little or as much as they care to.

We will have semi regular-meetings over happy hours and other venues such as roof project sites.
