Dear All,
A. Members of our Grid Info Centre have posted the following messages,
which I am forwarding as they will be of interest to some of you:
1. CCGrid 2005: 5th IEEE International Symposium on Cluster Computing
and the Grid - Call for Participation
2. Grid Developer Position Opening at Lockheed Martin

1. I also want to share a pointer to an article that appeared in The Age
newspaper on "Grand Ambitions"
<
http://theage.com.au/articles/2005/02/21/1108834695945.html>.
It coverages a range of issues and challenges in robotics, sensors,
escience, and of course it includes our Grid.
The article is accessible from:

CCGrid 2005 9th -12th May, Cardiff, Wales - Closure for Early–Bird
Delegate Registration
Dear Colleague,
I just want to draw your attention to the fact that early-bird delegate
registration for the Fifth International Symposium on Cluster Computing
and the Grid (CCGrid2005) will now close on 2 April 2005.
So if you want to take advantage of the reduced registration rates
currently available you will need to sign up now.
CCGrid2005 is taking place 9-12 May 2005 in Cardiff. This
conference, sponsored by IEEE Computer Society and organised mainly by
the Cardiff
School of Computer Science and the Welsh e-Science Centre, is designed
to bring together international leaders who are pioneering
researchers, developers, and users of clusters, networks, and Grid
architectures and applications. The symposium will serve as a forum to
present the latest work, and highlight related activities from around
the world.
In addition to registering yourself, I hope you will encourage your
staff, to also register, as well as any colleagues whom you think will
be interested in attending.
It would also be helpful if you could further publicise the conference
amongst your collaborators and
communities.
To register go to
http://www.cs.cf.ac.uk/ccgrid2005/ and follow the
Registration link.
Best Regards,
