Dear All:
If you have not browsed our Grid Computing Info Cetre @
http://www.gridcomputing.com
in the recent past, pls do browse now -- you will notice some
important updates. The project listing is continously growing and more
and more serious companies are getting into Grid business.
Recently our IEEE Cluster computing and the Grid (CCGrid 2002)
conference concluded in Berlin, Germany--the program was outstanding.
The organisers have put slides of keynote talks and also US and EU
funding startegies for Grid research. Check out: CCGrid 2002 from:
www.ccgrid.org;
There were outstanding 13 live demonstrations of Grid technolgies and
applications. The demonstrators were both from academia and industries.
The next CCGrid conference will be help in Tokyo, Japan. The call for
papers is also out, see: http://www.ccgrid.org; Plan for writting
papers, show live demo of your research, etc.
Finally, I am pleased to informed you about the Australia's first
research lab fully dedicated to Grid computing. Browse:
Grid Computing and Distributed Systems (GRIDS) Laboratory
webpage @ http://www.cs.mu.oz.au/~raj/grids/
The GRIDS lab has received grants to develop Cluster and Grid
techologies to enable distributed processing of applications such as
High energy Physics and developed Economic drive cluster scheduler. If
you are looking for a job (for a short time *6 months* job in
Australia), have expertise in cluster and grid software development,
and want to work on developing next-generation computing systems and
applications, send you full resume to me at: raj@...;
Also if you want to visit as Research Fellow/postdoc for 6 months or
so and want to involve both in research and developing Grid lecture
material with me, please send me your full resume. The position needs
to be filled within a month!
I look forward hearing from you.
cheers
