Summer Internships
ANU Supercomputer Facility - APAC National Facility
The ANU Supercomputer Facility (ANUSF) is engaged in the support and development
of high
performance computing technologies. Through our operation of the National
Facility of the
Australian Partnership for Advanced Computing (APAC), we support researchers at
ANU and
around the country using the most powerful supercomputer and the largest mass
data storage
system in Australia. ANUSF also has a Visualization/VR laboratory and is
engaged in data
grid projects in the Internet Futures program.
ANUSF is offering several Internships over the summer break (December
2003-February 2004)
to students with skills relevant to our programs. The student would be employed
for
around six weeks as a casual employee at ANU level 4-5 (approximately
$23-$28hour).
Details on some of the possible projects can be found at:
http://anusf.anu.edu.au/Summer_Internships
To Apply:
Candidates are encouraged to submit applications by 17th Oct, after which date
we will
begin to match people to available projects.
To submit an application simply email Bob Gingold at the address below

your
resume and indicate for what dates through the summer period you would be
