Hi all.
Currently I am trying to make some simulations using GridSim toolkit.
After creating "users" and "resources" with visualmodeler I just try to run this test case. The problem is that whether I try to arrange the nr. of gridlets, total time that the user wants the experiment to run or even time or budget constrains:
  • when the scheduling policy deals with the time than at the out.txt file I can see that the number of successfully  completed gridlets is 0 and
  • when the scheduling policy deals with the budget, the experiment just keeps running, the sim_trace file that is generated among the others keep growing (in the range of Gb) and I really don't know how long it needs to run; although  the time constrains placed from the created user for the experiment to run and the time values are in the range of 2 or three minutes it continues executing.

Can anyone give me a hint what I have to do in order to run the experiment cases generated with the visual modeler successfully, independently from the scheduling policy chosen?

Thank You in advance.

Regards

Elvis
