Hi Frederick
I live within 10 minutes of you. I will be in touch within a few days to establish a time to meet.
David
Hi David,
I am a member of the deep sky group also and I think I had the opportunity to say hi to you during one of the observation sessions at the Heights earlier this year (in fact, it was your equipment which got me interested in the GStar in the first place and I wouldn’t be surprised if it was you who suggested I join the GStar group!).
I live at Gould Creek – the rural section of Hillbank - overlooking Salisbury and Elizabeth.
I’ll be more than happy for you to pop up and provide some input into the set up. Shall I let you know when I get my GStar or would you like to pop in earlier?

Hi Frederick
I am a member of the Astronomical Society of South Australia and have been for about 10 years. I have been using the GStar now for approximately 2 years with good results. Provided you live in the general vicinity to me I am willing to visit and help you with set up and of the camera a associated equipment. I am also a member of the SA Deep Sky Group.

Hi GStar users. My name is Frederick, I have been an amateur astronomer for a few years now, am a member of the Astronomical Society of Sth. Aust. and I have recently joined the GStar group. I do not have a GStar unit at this time (I am expecting one for my birthday in December!). I possess a NextStar 8" and have just bought a wedge for it. I intend to house the scope in an obervatory I am currently building in my yard. In addition to direct observation, I am looking to hook up the scope to a computer in my house ready for the longer GStar maging sessions. I am looking for advice regarding the better/best way of hooking up the scope to the computer (40m away) as well as ideas for the better/best types of software to complement the GStar in capturing and manipulating images. As I am new to the imaging game, would you also please provide a general overview of what you do re the image capturing process - from setting up the scope/GStar combination through to generating the fi nished image.
Many thanks in advance for any thoughts/recommenda
