I have looked into the 3 issues in the new release.
These issues have been addressed and the updated
version is posted on the web site.

From the patch download, just copy Guggi.exe in the
folder where Guggi is installed.

The issues have been addressed as follows:

1. Multi-step oledb error in Oracle 8i - the error
message was erroneous. The message has been
supressed. The index details are displayed correctly.

2. Unable to reverse engineer tables in Oracle 8i:
In 1.5.3 reverse engineering of External Tables is
supported (for versions 9.2 and higher). External
tables don't exist in 8i. The application was looking
for a system table that is not available in 8i. This
issue has been fixed.

3. EOF or BOF record when displaying details of a
Synonym : This has to do with Oracle privileges
issue. If the user does not have privilege to see the
synonym or the underlying object in one of the system
views, then this message comes up. The issue has been
fixed and the system table to display the data is not
used if the user does not have appropriate privileges.
Synonym details are now displayed.
