Grandview Woodlands Food Connection
Connecting The Dots Community Mapping Project
Project Coordinator
Connecting The Dots Project Overview: The GWFC designed the Connecting the Dots
Project as a first step to address food security (a high-priority health issue
in the neighbourhood) through a comprehensive mapping of the local food system.
By creatively determining the food related needs and resources in the
neighbourhood and providing tools to mobilize, the project will build
connections amongst diverse members of the community, reduce barriers
contributing to social isolation, build leadership skills and ultimately build a
foundation to make long term sustainable moves to support its local food
resources and address the necessary gaps.
