Eco@Woodlands proudly presents
Adventures in the Mud - Tales from South-east Asian Mangroves
by N. Sivasothi, Nature Society (Singapore)
“Mangroves and mudflats are where many food chains begin.
Crabs, shellfish, prawns and fish begin their lives in the tidal mud.
Raffles Museum of Biodiversity Research (RMBR) researcher
Sivasothi relate his explorations among the mangroves and
mudflats of South-east Asia. Be amazed with the rich diversity
of unusual plants and animals that you never knew
existed in Singapore!”
The talk will also feature the International Coastal Cleanup Singapore
and discuss the relevance of some of the preliminary findings.
