300+ horseshoe crabs rescued at Mandai mangroves
A 100 meter gill in Mandai mangroves entangles some 300 horseshoe
crabs. These unattended nets are a frequent menace to this reduced
population of ancient creatures in our mudflats ad mangroves.

[Raffles] Museum needs more space, better access
A visitor to NUS' Raffles Museum of Biodiversity Research's open house
held in conjunction with International Museum Day reflects on his
experience in the Strats Times forum page.

He suggests that the gallery is too small for public viewing, the site has
poor access and there are enough resources to showcase natural history
in Southeast Asia - i.e. asking for a natural history museum.
