The Singapore Heritage Fest 2009 is back again and there are exhibitions,

heritage tours, a race, fashion show, culinary events, concerts and other
events to appeal both young and old; see: http://www.heritagefest.org.sg/
As part of the festival, the Raffles Museum of Biodiversity Research (NUS)
and Reflections at Bukit Chandu (National Archives of SIngapore) invite you
on a 4-hour guided walk with volunteer guides from Raffles Museum Toddycats,
covering aspects of the history, geography, flora and fauna of the area.
They have plenty of stories to share with you about their neighbours in the
Pasir Panjang/Kent Ridge area - the people as well as the plants
and animals!
Two sessions will be
conducted, on Saturday 25th July 2009 at 8am and 9am.
The walks last
about four hours and will include the Raffles Museum's
Public
Gallery, the Kent Ridge marker, Kent Ridge Park and Reflections
at Bukit Chandu.
