Hi John and All
I think I've now manageto upload photo's look in Jim's Album
Here are some details and photo's of tha MT-1 Camera.
It was made by KMZ of Moscow in the eighties and nineties
for medical use in Hospital Labourites, Primary to be
attached to a Eidescope for recording image data,
It has a Data back but only for numbers fo Identification
It's format Size is 18 X 24 standard half frame, It comes with
two lenses a 50mm F7 and a 30mm F3.5, It has a verticle
run electronic "droper"shutter 1sec to 1/1000 sec plus B
Now by taking the lens mount of , (very easy just four screws to
undo)
you can take the lens mount of any old Zenit E or EM fit it two
the MT-1 making sure tha the flat bit is at the top, This makes
sure the Auto diaphram works,
Now you will have a full systems camera that has access
to M42 mount lenses, Can be obtain easy, from 20mm to 1000 mm
With it not having a ground glass screen one may find
it a bit more tricky to focus. But it gives wonderfull results
I got mine of e.bay Via Alex-Photo for £40.00 ( about $80.00 )
new with two the two lenses.
anyway take a look at the photo's below.
All the Best Mate
Jim Liverpool, United Kingdom.
